- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪One star would be too much. I went to the Cedar Court Clinic to get my immunizations for nursing school. They screwed up every single thing I needed: 1. I never got to see a doctor, and I'm not convinced they actually have any on staff. The only person I was allowed to see was a PA. Usually this would be fine, but at the end of my first visit I asked as a side note if she could take a look in my ear because it had really been sore (to the point where it should be obvious to someone at her level if I have an outer-ear infection). She took a quick look and said it was fine. Of course, after consulting with someone else, I DID have an infection. On my next visit, I didn't want to see this PA again. No choice. 2. When the girl on the phone asked what I was coming in for, I told her I needed titers for immunizations. She asked me to repeat myself 3 times - she had NO IDEA what a titer was. Seriously? 3. I told them I specifically needed a 2-step TB test. Of course, they gave a 1-step. So I had to come in 2 weeks later and start the process over. 4. When I asked if I could have the records of immunization sent to the health nurse at my school, they said I would have to pay for the release! 5. A couple weeks after I moved out of Carbondale, 5 hours north to where I would be going to nursing school, I find out from the health nurse at my school that one of the tests they completed was to see if I HAD the disease process, not if I had the ANTIBODIES (immunity). Of course, I'm not going to travel 5 freaking hours for this incompetent facility to re-do the test. Nor am I going to pay for their mistake. I called them immediately and explained what happened. Here comes the one thing they did right - they gave me my money back for that test. I ended up having to schedule a last-minute appointment with my physician at home (45 minutes away) to get the test re-done. UNBELIEVABLE.December 30, 2016by A Google User
